Summary
The article explains how, despite the increasing diversification of touchpoints between consumers and companies—such as social media, e-commerce, physical stores, events, and mobile apps—consumer behavior remains fragmented across channels. As a result, relying solely on demographic attributes like age or gender is no longer sufficient to fully understand consumers.
As an approach to this challenge, the article introduces a method in which actions such as store visits, purchases, event participation, and mobility are recorded on the blockchain—linked to a wallet address and formatted as “when,” “where,” and “what happened,” without including any personal information.
This enables a new perspective in which multiple cross-channel behaviors can be reinterpreted as a single, continuous consumer experience.
Furthermore, the article discusses how combining AI-driven analysis with these recorded behavioral logs makes it possible to visualize consumers’ interests and behavioral tendencies based on their actions.
In this article, we introduce “Blockchain × AI” as a means of reconstructing fragmented customer touchpoints into a single, seamless experience through the recording and analysis of behavioral data.
